Joe Hendry signs for Ring of Honor Wrestling


Wrestling Agency star Joe Hendry has signed for USA-based promotion Ring of Honor Wrestling.

Signing for Ring of Honor, one of the USA’s top independent wrestling companies, is the latest in a long line of successes for Hendry since he made his professional wrestling debut in 2013.

Initially finding fame in Glasgow-based promotion Insane Championship Wrestling, Hendry went on to establish himself as one of UK wrestling’s most multi-talented performers.

The Edinburgh native is a former Defiant Wrestling World Champion, former NGW Tag Team Champion and was part of British wrestling’s comeback to ITV on the WOS Wrestling TV series in 2018.

Joe was a featured performer on Canada-based Impact Wrestling’s worldwide television show in 2018 and has also appeared for industry leaders the WWE on their flagship TV show Monday Night Raw.

His other UK TV wrestling credits include PCW Wrestling on the Fight Network UK (2019) and as commentator for live pro wrestling on Spike and FreeSports (2017/18).

Joe’s non-wrestling TV and radio credits include appearances on Good Morning Britain on ITV and the Dermot O’Leary Saturday Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 (both 2018).

Away from the professional game, Joe is also a two-time British amateur wrestling champion and represented Scotland in the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He is also a talented musician who fronted the rock band Lost in Audio.
