'The Monster' Crater to challenge for NWA World's Heavyweight Title
The Wrestling Agency star ‘The Monster’ Crater has one of the biggest matches of his career this Saturday when he challenges for one of the world’s most historic pro wrestling titles.
The masked behemoth, who shot to prominence on ITV’s WOS Wrestling show last summer, will square off with Nick Aldis for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title.
This mega match will take place on a Pinfall Wrestling event in Salford, Manchester.
The NWA Title was formally established in 1948 with lineage dating back to 1905, making it the world’s oldest existing wrestling championship.
Previous titleholders have included wrestling legends such as ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair, Terry Funk and ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes.
Aldis, now in his second reign, has been a globetrotting champion defending against all-comers.
Crater, who at 36 stone is Europe’s biggest professional wrestler, was one of the breakout stars on the WOS television show in 2018 - British wrestling’s first weekly series on ITV since the 1980s.
Crater can be booked for shows and appearances through The Wrestling Agency.
